Another Plug for Amazon Prime

I've got to get some ads from Amazon up. If you don't have a Prime membership yet, what are you waiting for? They now have all the Star Trek series' available free for Prime members, not to mention, Red Dwarf.

If you have never seen Red Dwarf, you are seriously missing out. It is about Dave Lister - the last living human being on the mining ship Red Dwarf. Don't worry that it would be boring. He isn't alone.
Lister is placed into stasis as punishment for bringing a pregnant cat on board and refusing to surrender her. Soon after, a radiation leak wipes out the crew of the mining ship that is as big as a city. To minimize the danger, the ships computer, Holly, points itself away from earth and hits the accelerator
Three million years later, once it is safe for Lister to come out of stasis, Holly revives him.
DELETED MUCH THAT MAY BE CONSIDERED SPOILERS.
If you haven't seen it, try out the first episode now. I'll wait.
Anyway.....

I didn't mean for this post to evolve into a plug for Red Dwarf, but it is just as well. I have enjoyed this show and wished for more, for many, many years. They are easily re-watchable and extremely funny. I can't recommend it enough, but keep in mind, it is a British Comedy and I know those are not for everybody.

(I really need to work on keeping my posts from derailing don't I? They never really go where I expect.)

In any case, my Prime membership continues to be a source of joy to me. Free shipping, free movies and free TV Shows, free books and inexpensive books. Dig around and see what treasures you can find for free at Amazon.

I'm reading some old books that don't really need reviews but who knows, maybe I'll give some anyway. I need some new books, if you have any to recommend, leave a comment.
